Suffolk, Va- Suffolk Emergency Communications recieved calls shortly before 8 pm reporting that a bear had been seen in the neighborhood off of Holland Rd/ Route 58 near Grove Ave. at the foot of the Bypass.
The bear reportedly climbed a tree in the 100 block of Deborah Dr.
The bear is estimated to be approximately 2 years old and weighs between 100 and 150 pounds.
At approximately 11:20 pm, the bear climbed down from the tree and ran into the woods.
