San Diego boat captain Kurt Roll captured this footage of a multimillion-dollar yacht going up in flames on Thursday using a DJI Phantom quadcopter with a GoPro camera.
Our sister station Fox5SanDiego reports that the fire burned for hours and the boat is a complete loss. Damages are estimated between $15 million and $18 million.
What caused the boat to catch fire had yet to be determined, but workers speculated that it may have been sparked by someone working in the boat with a welding torch.
