Jessie Lee Herald, a man on trial for a child endangerment case, has agreed to get vasectomy to reduce his prison sentence by almost 5 years.
Herald, 27, has several children from multiple women and Shenandoah County assistant prosecutor Ilona White wants to prevent him from fathering anymore children.
According to CBS, the operation has to happen within a year of being released from prison and prohibits the vasectomy being reversed while he is on probation.
