Virginia Beach Police are currently on scene of an accident where a teenager on a bicycle was hit by a car at Indian River Road and Providence Road.
Police say the call came in at 1:46 p.m.
The 17-year-old was on a bike and crossing against the signal. The vehicle was driving northbound on Providence Road and making a left turn on the green light onto Indian River Road when the teen was hit.
The teen was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
It is unknown whether any charges will be filed at this time.
