UPDATE: The bridge has now reopened to traffic. Traffic is now moving in both directions.
Traffic is now being detoured on the I-64 High Rise Bridge after experiencing mechanical issues from a lift.
Crews and police are on the scene now.
Eastbound traffic is being detoured to I-464 and westbound traffic is being detoured to Route 17.
