Norfolk Police say they are investigating the undetermined death of a six-week-old baby boy found unresponsive on Tuesday morning.
According to police, an adult woman found her son unresponsive just after 8:20 a.m. and transported him to Fire Station #8.
The baby was immediately transferred to CHKD but was pronounced deceased on the way to the hospital.
Norfolk Police’s Detective division is handling the investigation. At this time, the case is being classified as an undetermined death until the Medical Examiner’s office determines a cause of death.
