Chesapeake Walmart reopens after bomb threat

Chesapeake, Va. – The Walmart Supercenter on Sam’s Circle in Chesapeake reopened Saturday night after a bomb threat closed it for several hours.

Multiple units from the Chesapeake Fire and Police Departments responded to the store just after 9:30 p.m.  after the threat was called in.

A search of the store revealed no explosives or suspicious items.  The store was allowed to be reoccupied at 11:15 p.m.

Investigators are working to identify a suspect.
