Some folks had to be evacuated on Thursday after a natural gas leak on Langley Air Force Base.
Sean Houlihan with Langley says there was a natural gas leak because of digging in the area.
Crews responded to the scene and blocked off Sweeny Blvd.
Virginia Natural Gas arrived and turned off the gas in the area.
As a precaution, a few areas were evacuated.
The leak has now been contained and base operations are back to normal.
