Norfolk, Va. – A man who was shot on Greenleaf Drive in Norfolk was pulled over by police as he drove in Chesapeake early Monday morning.
Norfolk police were initially called to reports of a shooting in the 1900 block of Greenleaf Drive, but could not locate any victims. Shortly afterwards Chesapeake police officers stopped a car and discovered the driver suffering from gunshot wounds, who said he had been shot on Greenleaf Drive.
He was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The victim told officers he was shot by a light-skinned black man. Police continue to investigate the shooting.
