HONG KONG (CNN) — A six-year-old Hong Kong boy who was playing with Legos in the street near his family’s driveway is lucky to be alive after being struck by an SUV.
Remarkably, China’s state-run TV says he walked away from the incident with only a few scratches.
The driver lives in the same community and didn’t even realize what happened. Authorities used surveillance tape to track him down.
Apparently the boy was small enough, the SUV rode high enough and the wheels were spaced far enough apart that the boy wasn’t seriously hurt.
