Newport News, Va. – A man has been arrested after officials say he made a bomb after watching and learning from YouTube videos.
Police say 19-year-old Dylan Thomas Hammond told officials he was going to use the explosives to throw into a fire pit to see what happens.
They say there was no ill intent involved, but he was arrested because these devices are very dangerous.
Hammond was officially charged on August 28th with bomb/explosive, create possess or use.
