Virginia Beach, Va. - Dominic Brown is taking action for students in Virginia Beach and helping them start the school year off right!
Dominic spent Tuesday handing out backpacks and school supplies to students at Renaissance Academy.
Throughout the morning, NewsChannel 3 saw students and their parents at the bus stop patiently waiting as they said goodbye to summer break and hello to the first day of school.
As bus after bus picked the kids up, parents took pictures and gave last minute hugs before the bell rang. And now with many students equipped with new backpacks, pencils and pens, they're ready to take action themselves in the classroom.
