Norfolk, Va. – A 59-year-old man is dead after an accident on Terminal Blvd. in Norfolk on Wednesday.
Police say a 2006 Ford utility work van was trying to take the off ramp to Terminal from I-564 when the driver lost control and ran off the road. The van drove through the guardrail and hit a tree. It landed in a creek.
The driver was not wearing his seatbelt at the time officials say. Alcohol was not a factor.
Police say they are not sure if a medical condition played a factor in the accident.
The driver was identified as Harold Anthony Davis of Chesapeake.
