Virginia Beach, Va. – Police are investigating after a woman was found dead near a minivan in the 1800 block of Winter Park Court at around 6:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
The victim has been identified as Lanethia S. Ruggles, approximately 44 years old.
Ruggles’ body was taken to the Medical Examiner’s office to determine the cause of death.
Multiple detectives were called to the scene to investigate.
