Numerous car break-ins reported in Virginia Beach

Virginia Beach, Va. – Police have received numerous reports of car windows being broken into in the city of Virginia Beach.

The incidents appear to have occurred on Monday, September 8, 2014 between the hours of midnight and 4:00 a.m. on various streets in the County View subdivision.

These cases are being investigated as Destruction of Private Property, according to Beach police. There is no indication as to how these windows were broken. The exact number of cases remains to be seen as officers are still taking reports, police say.

There are no suspects at this time and the cases remain under investigation.
