Man wanted for armed robbery at Ocean View 7-Eleven store

Norfolk, Va. – A man is wanted for an armed robbery at a Norfolk 7-Eleven store, police tell NewsChannel 3.

On September 9, 2014 at approximately 4:45 a.m., a man entered the 7-Eleven store located at 2214 E. Ocean View Avenue. The suspect displayed a firearm and demanded money from a store clerk. The clerk complied with the suspect’s demands and then ran away from the area with an undisclosed amount of money, according to police. No one in the store was injured during the incident and Norfolk Detectives are actively investigating this case.

The suspect is described as a black male with a light complexion, last seen wearing square framed prescription glasses, a dark hooded sweatshirt, white gloves, long khaki pants, and had his face covered with a bandana. He is described as being 6’2”-6’5” in height and in the mid 20’s-30’s in age.
