Star Quarterback for the Washington Redskins, Robert Griffin III, dislocated his ankle in the first quarter of the game against Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday.
Griffin planted his left foot, and it appeared that it collapsed and bent inwards on him. He was lying face down on the sidelines for a while.
Eventually, he was carted off and wiped away tears as he was taken to the locker room.
Kirk Cousins came off the bench and took over.
Cousins completed his first 12 passes and finished 22 of 33 for 250 yards and two touchdowns.
The Redskins won the game: 41 to 10.
The Redskins will play the Eagles next Sunday in Philadelphia.
