Virginia Beach, Va. – Starting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 17, Tidewater Utilities Construction Inc., under contract with the Department of Public Utilities, will be making repairs to a sanitary force main on Virginia Beach Boulevard at the intersection of Kings Grant Road.
To safely facilitate repairs, the following will be in effect 24 hours a day:
– Southbound Kings Grant Road will be a right turn only onto westbound Virginia Beach Boulevard.
– On Wednesday and Thursday, westbound Virginia Beach Boulevard will be reduced to two through lanes.
– On Friday and Saturday, westbound Virginia Beach Boulevard will have three through lanes open.
– Eastbound Virginia Beach Boulevard left turn lanes onto Kings Grant Road will be reduced to one lane.
Advanced warning signs will be posted advising motorists of the repairs.
Weather permitting, repairs are expected to be completed by Saturday, September 20.
