President of CHS, Cherly Hindle said, “Bark in the Park is the Chesapeake Humane Society’s largest fundraising event of the year.”

From noon to 5 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 5, there will be several events including a canine costume contest, the Radar Run, demonstrations from the Chesapeake Police Dogs and more.

“It’s a great opportunity for the community to come together, celebrate the animals in our lives and ultimately support our mission of promoting the welfare of companion animals.”
