UPDATE: All lanes are open at I-64 eastbound but there are still major delays in this area. The back up is now 6 miles.
James City County, Va. – Right now, there are major delays on I-64 in both directions due to crashes.
The first is a five-vehicle crash in the eastbound direction near Queen Creek. Wreckers are now on the scene but there is a back up of at least 3 miles. One lane is open.
There was another crash in the opposite direction eastbound involving a semi-truck and a dump truck. All lanes are open but there is a 4-mile back up at this time.
