Chesapeake, Va. - One woman is without a home after a fire destroyed her house in the Cornland section of Chesapeake Sunday night.

Firefighters were called to the fire in the 2700 block of Seven Eleven Road at 11:10 p.m.  and arrived to find flames coming from both floors of the two-story home.

Firefighters had the fire under control at 12:45 a.m.  The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

Investigators say it's hard to pinpoint where and how the fire started due to the damage.

Assistant Fire Marshal Scott Saunders told NewsChannel 3 nothing stands out to make them believe the fire was intentional or accidental.

There were no injuries, and the displaced occupant has made arrangements to stay with family in the area.
