(CNN) — A military aircraft crashed Wednesday in eastern England, police in Lincolnshire said Wednesday.
The pilot ejected from the aircraft, sustained a minor injury and left the scene by helicopter, police said.
The plane is a U.S. Air Force F-15, according to a U.S. Department of Defense official.
