Caroline County, Va. — A 14-year-old boy made a run for it from a Christian boarding school — but was caught and assaulted by four school workers.
A shocking video captured all the action, which resulted in the employees being arrested and charged with assault by mob and assault.
The video was taken inside the cafeteria and sanctuary hall at Abundant Life Academy in Caroline County in April, according to WTVR.
It all started when four teenagers escaped from the boarding school by stealing an ATV and taking it on a 28-mile drive. Deputies there detained the juveniles. Investigators said the boys told them about assault and abuse at the boarding school.
In court Thursday morning, Timothy Jordan, Jovanny Rivera, Carey Honea and Liam Galligan struck a deal with the Commonwealth’s Attorney and pleaded guilty to simple assault.
Investigators say their investigation is ongoing and more charges could be filed.
