A Norfolk stripper party ended in 40 gunshots and a murder. Then after that, a man who days earlier beat a high-profile murder case was charged with another murder and jailed.
There are really just two possibilities when it comes to Kareem Turner. Either police and witnesses got the wrong man -- again -- or the young father who walked free from a Virginia Beach murder prosecution almost immediately went out and killed someone.
Kareem Turner, his cousin Roy Turner, and a man named Joshua Wood stood through a three-hour preliminary hearing on Thursday. They are accused of killing DaJuan Glover on Jason Avenue in July during a robbery.

The hearing featured two key witnesses. One was a man who identified Roy Turner as the man who followed him from a stripper party and robbed him. The other was one of the strippers, who identified Joshua Wood as the gunman. Wildly different testimony the trio of defense lawyers tried to pick apart.
The man who was robbed, but got away said he had been drinking, but believed he was sober when he was attacked. But the stripper who was walking feet away described him as very drunk.
She also told police she saw Kareem Turner had a gun, but in court she said she wasn't sure. When police arrested Kareem, they found in his pocket a car key, and in the car was a 40-caliber Glock.
At the scene, police found more than three dozen 4-calibur shells, and three 9mm shells.
A judge said there was enough evidence to send the case to a grand jury. None of the family members or friends who attended would talk after.
