Loudoun County, Va. – A female inmate who went to Ebola-stricken areas in West Africa has been hospitalized after she came down with a fever.
According to WTVR.com, the woman was arrested when she arrived at Dulles International Airport on Monday. She was being held at the Adult Detention Center while she waited extradition to face charges.
She came down with a low-grade fever and doctors decided to take her to the hospital as a precaution.
The woman is still being evaluated. Workers there are trying to determine if she meets the criteria for Ebola testing.
