Hampton, Va. - Nearly 15 cars were spray painted and scratched Saturday night on Beall Drive in Hampton.
Police say the call came in just at about 2:40 a.m. on Sunday when someone realized that multiple cars were vandalized.
A Hampton investigator spent the day going door to door questioning possible victims of the attack. NewsChannel 3 spoke with several residents who said they had no idea why someone would target this neighborhood.
"It's a shame. This is something that nobody should have to deal with, you know," said one Resident.
Some were able to clean the paint off, but are still frustrated by this senseless act.
"That's what they do when they have nothing else to do. They wanna come and make somebody have a bad day I guess," said another neighbor.
