This morning, VDOT, along with Elizabeth River Crossings, will be testing the Intelligent Transportation Systems at the Berkley Bridge.
The scheduled bridge lift at 10:30AM will coincide with this testing, which will make sure lights and emergency gates are operating properly.
The testing is expected to last 30 minutes, officials say. Both directions of traffic on I-264 will be stopped during this time.
Please expect delays in the area, and take an alternate route if possible.
