The officer accused of shooting the unarmed teen Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri has not shown up to court. Five criminal cases have been dismissed because of his absence.

According to NBC news, officer Darren Wilson “wasn’t available,” which is what his Ed Magee said who is spokesman for the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney.

Wilson has not been seen publically since the shooting on Aug. 9.
