Chesapeake, Va. – Chesapeake police had to cross the city’s line to catch one driver who they say was operating a stolen vehicle on Wednesday.

At 7:15 p.m., an officer tried to stop a Nissan Sentra that had about 4 or 5 people inside at the intersection of Liberty Street and Wilson Road.

Police say the driver refused to stop and continued to travel into Norfolk.

They were able to find the vehicle in the 1400 block of Melon Street and a woman was taken into custody.

The vehicle was reported stolen.

Police are still investigating this case.
