Virginia Beach, Va. - A man was shot outside of a Virginia Beach sports bar early Thursday morning.
The shooting happened outside the Sidelines Sports Theater Bar & Grille on Holland Road around 1:26am.
The man told police he was in an altercation with an unknown woman when an unidentified black man became involved.
Security intervened and the man left in his vehicle.
As he was leaving, the unidentified suspect fired at the victim’s car and the man returned fire.
The victim was struck in the arm and was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
