Man arrested in string of rooftop burglaries in Norfolk

Norfolk, Va. – Norfolk police have arrested a man in a string of rooftop burglaries around Norfolk.

41-year-old Oscar Gipson has been charged with 6 counts of Burglary, 4 counts of Grand Larceny, and 2 counts of Possession of Burglarious Tools.

The charges stem from six different commercial burglaries at the following locations:

Pelon’s Baja Grill – 10/31/14
Hot House Yoga – 10/31/14
China Ocean – 10/31/14
Taste of Europe – 10/31/14
La Bella in Ghent Restaurant – 10/31/14
Tobacco Inn – 11/7/14

Gipson is currently being held without bond at the Norfolk City Jail.
