UPDATE:

Some of the charges against Joan Noble were dropped earlier today in court.

She will still have to face two of the felony meth charges.

Norfolk, Va. - A mother accused of making meth - whose own daughter reported her to police - is scheduled to be in court today.

The Norfolk mother is scheduled to enter a plea later this morning.

Officers arrested 56-year-old Joan Noble in August.

She's charged with several felonies, including manufacturing methamphetamines.

On August 4, HAZMAT crews surrounded Noble`s Bayview home.

According to court documents, they found several chemicals and containers investigators say are commonly used to make meth.

Investigators believe Noble not only made meth, but also sold marijuana.

Not long after Noble was arrested - her daughter spoke to NewsChannel 3 about why she called police.

Noble is scheduled to appear in Norfolk court this morning at 10:30 a.m.
