Local preschoolers have selected the top 10 toys for the holidays!
Anne Pope, owner of The Goddard School at Lynnhaven joins us today on the Parents' Corner to talk about the holiday fun, and what kids really want.
The kids of The Goddard School spent the month of October “testing” toys and picking their favorites for the holidays.
The public will have a chance to vote for their favorite toy, and then they will purchase 100 of that toy and donate it to Toys For Tots!
Anne Pope shows us some fun, interactive demonstrations so parents can see what kids really want for the holidays!
The 2014 Goddard School Preschooler-Approved Toy Test engaged children from infants to six years old to play with interactive toys during a week long toy test in October, while teachers observed and documented how the toy rated among the judging criteria – such as, did it encourage interactive play, support learning and skill development, inspire creativity, and more.
Now, the kids’ votes are in! The Goddard School Preschooler-Approved Top 10 Toys for 2014 are (in suggested age range order):
