Elizabeth City, N.C. - Two people were robbed Friday night during a home invasion on Dunstan Lane. It's located just a few blocks from Road and Ehringhause Streets.
According to police, four men broke into the home around 7:50 p.m. The men had bandanas covering their faces and one was armed with a shotgun.
While two of the men ordered the people inside to lie on the floor the other two started grabbing things around the house, including $400 in cash, a pistol and ammunition.
While searching the area nearby, police say they found some of the items, including a TV, but they're still searching for the four men.
It's an uneasy feeling for Ernell White, who lives just around the corner.
"Things have really changed since I've been living here," White said, "It used to be a quiet area. We had no break-ins. We work too hard to get what we have and we don't want nobody to come and take it."
Police say the two people who were robbed Friday were not injured.
The victims could not give a good description of the men since their faces were covered.
