Hampton, Va. – A man was hit by a minivan on Shell Road in Hampton on Monday evening.
The man was transported to a local hospital with what appeared to be life threatening injuries. His prognosis quickly improved. He has since been stabilized and his injuries no longer appear to be life threatening.
Shell Road between Gary and Quincy remains closed while the investigation takes place.
