Men steal drugs, cash from Newport News pharmacy

Newport News Police are looking for two men seen on surveillance video robbing the Glendale Pharmacy at 12444 Warwick Boulevard on Tuesday evening.

The men walked into the pharmacy around 6:15 p.m. armed with handguns and demanded prescription medication.

The manager/owner gave the men 10-15 bottles of drugs that were put in a backpack. They also demanded money from the register.

No customers were in the store during the robbery. No one was injured.

Both suspects are described as black males, 25-35 years old. One was tall with a dark complexion, wearing a gray knit hat, closed red jacket and blue jeans. The other suspect was shorter than suspect #1, wearing a black hooded sweater with the hood up.
