Suffolk, Va. – A man is recovering after police say he was shot in the hip on Thursday afternoon.
Emergency officials received calls about the shooting at around 1 p.m. They were told this happened at 12th Street and Ivy Avenue.
When police arrived on the scene, they found the 31-year-old victim lying in the road in the 600 block of 12th Street.
His injury is considered non-life threatening.
They believe two men may have been involved in the shooting.
