A ‘fed-up’ priest has installed a phone signal jamming device in his church to stop mobiles going off in services, according to a report from Mirror.
Father Michele Madonna said: “Phones were always going off at funerals, which just wasn’t on.”
“When it first started people would switch them off in embarrassment. Now they carry on talking. I bought the jammer from a local electrical store and asked the police
if it was OK and they said it was – it’s great as it has stopped the problem.”
The device is available online and Father Madonna had an engineer fix it inside his church after getting approval from the local police, the Mirror reports.
