UPDATE: Nothing was found and this search has now been called off.
Portsmouth, Va. – Emergency crews are now searching for a man who reportedly jumped into the Elizabeth River.
They are conducting the search near High Street Landing in Portsmouth.
Emergency crews were notified at 12 p.m. on Wednesday.
The Coast Guard dispatched crews aboard a 25-foot response boat from Coast Guard Station Portsmouth.
The Portsmouth Police Department is also helping in the search.
