Virginia’s New Year’s Millionaire Raffle has sold out, according to lottery officials.
The final available ticket in Virginia’s New Year’s Millionaire Raffle was bought at 2:54 p.m. on Sunday, December 28. That means all 330,000 tickets have been bought by Virginia Lottery players.
The final ticket (ticket #000001) was bought at 340 Fuel Depot, 3355 Lord Fairfax Highway in Berryville.
On January 1, the drawing will be held in which three of those tickets will win $1 million each. Six tickets will each win $25,000 and an additional 300 tickets will each win $500, officials say.
The winners will be announced on the Virginia Lottery web site, http://www.valottery.com, at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 1.
