Richmond, Va., — A Richmond landlord is being sued for $1.3 million after being accused of planting a hidden camera in the bedroom of a tenant.

The tenant moved into a fully-furnished home subleased from Tomas Arnaiz back in 2012, according to WTVR.

A clock radio was included in the home.

The tenant says in his lawsuit that he and his girlfriend found out in March that they were being secretly recorded in the bedroom and while using the bathroom.

Police recovered hours of recordings on Arnaiz’s computer.

The couple found out they were being watched when they noticed that the clock radio had been repositioned and plugged in after they unplugged it.
