Michigan – Some students at the University of Michigan are facing serious trouble after trashing two ski resorts in northern Michigan.

Students from fraternities and sororities are accused of causing as much as $75,000 in damages, according to ABC News,

The students are accused of ripping off cabinet doors, destroying ceilings and rugs and trashing the rooms and hallways while staying at the resorts last weekend.

Criminal charges could be filed.

The manager of the Treetops Resort said he’s never seen anything like it. “I mean it just kind of never ended.”

The University of Michigan responded in a statement to ABC News, “We are very disappointed in the behavior of some of our students during a weekend visit to two northern Michigan ski resorts. I want to assure you that the organizations and the individuals involved will be held accountable for their actions.”
