Virginia Beach, Va. – A man faces charges after crashing into a into a power pole around midnight Friday in Virginia Beach.
The crash split the pole at the intersection of Holland Road and Princess Anne Road.
The driver, 39-year- old Trevor Halstead, was charged with Driving Under the Influence and suffered minor injuries. Following the incident he was taken to the Virginia Beach City Jail.
The intersection was closed for the investigation until 9:20am.
