Person wanted for breaking into truck, stealing items in Suffolk

Suffolk, Va. – Police are looking for a person wanted for breaking into a vehicle in Suffolk.

It happened in the 100 block of Brewer Avenue in downtown Suffolk on January 20, 2015 at approximately 4:15 a.m.

A person wearing a black hoodie, black jacket, blue jeans, and white gloves was caught on video by the victim’s video home surveillance going through the victim’s truck. Items totaling $500 were taken, including a GPS unit, sunglasses, and a cell phone charger.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP℠. When calling Crime Line, callers do not have to give their names or appear in court.

TipSoft also supports users’ ability to submit videos or photos using the TipSoft mobile app. If information leads to an arrest, the caller or “tipster”
could qualify for a reward of up to $1,000.
