UPDATE: All severe thunderstorm warnings have expired.
Norfolk, Va. – The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Chesapeake, Norfolka and Virginia Beach until 1:30.
The warning says a band of showers will move across the area that are capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. The storms may also produce heavy rainfall and minor flooding.
