Portsmouth, Va. – A young man dies in a car accident early Sunday morning.
According to officials, around 2:40 a.m. a 2010 Chevrolet Impala lost control, ran off the road and hit a tree off of east bound I-264 west of Victory Blvd., Portsmouth.
The driver, 22-year-old Treyquel Lamar Jamison died at the scene.
Jamison was wearing his safety belt, and it is unclear if alcohol was involved.
