Police officers have arrested several people after a car chase late Saturday night.

Shortly before 11 p.m. in the 500 block of E. Little Creek Road, police discovered a stolen vehicle with several people inside.

The officers stopped the car for a brief moment, and tried to approach them. While walking towards the car, the driver accelerated towards one of the officers. According to police, both of the officers shot their service weapons.

The car drove a short distance before the people inside jumped out and tried to flee on foot. All individuals were arrested and were taken to the Police Operations Center for questioning.
