Currituck County, N.C. – Currituck County Schools will be operating on an early release schedule today, February 10, 2015, due to high winds, according to school officials.
The time of release varies by school, according to Sandra Kinzel of Currituck County Schools. Early release generally is 12:30 p.m., Kinzel says, but for “early start schools” it is 11:30 a.m.
Dare County Schools will dismiss at 12 p.m. on Tuesday. All after school activities are cancelled, including the After-School Enrichment Program. The Board of Education meeting will be rescheduled.
