UPDATE: Man arrested after break-in at Virginia Beach ABC store

Virginia Beach- A break-in was reported at a Virginia Beach ABC store early Wednesday at 5:07 a.m.

The liquor store is located at 4334 Holland Road in the Holland Plaza Shopping Center. A citizen reported to police that a window had been broken.

Five minutes after the burglary at 5:12 a.m., another call came in reporting that the vehicle hit a tree in the 400 block of Woodlake Drive leaving the driver injured.

The driver was transported to a local hospital and doesn't have any life threatening injuries.

Police say that both cases are related. They've now arrested Zachary James Krebs, 18, of the 4900 block of Smoke Rise Lane.

He has been charged with two counts of burglary, grand larceny, and wearing a mask in public. He is being held in the Virginia Beach Jail on no bond.

Virginia Beach Police continues to investigate.
