Las Vegas, NV—All things come down, but do they? Apparently elevator shafts don’t.
Early morning February 10, crews began the demolition of the Clarion Hotel & Casino—property formerly owned by actress Debbie Reynolds—in Las Vegas with over two tons of explosives that were detonated.
But despite all of their hard work and ammunition, the 12-story elevator shaft remained standing.
The six-acre property was bought by developer Lorenzo Doumani who plans on turning it into a mixed-use resort.
